Step 1 launch the program on your Mac. Click on the "Add File" button which is available on the bottom left side or drag and drop WMV files here.
Step 2 After adding files in the software interface, click on "Select Format" bar to select output format. Here you can choose to encode WMV to H.264 mp4, .mov, DivX .avi for playing with VLC.
Note: Aside from converting WMV files into other formats, you can directly play WMV files in the software interface because it also works as a player.
Tip: You can also check the "Settings" box , and set video codec, video size, Bitrate, frame rate to get a decent video you want on your VLC player.
Step 3 Now click on Start button, it will start WMV to VLC conversion automatically.
Note: Output folder is in the bottom middle area of the interface and you can change output folder for converted files yourself.
When the converting process ends, you can open output folder to check and play the converted WMV videos in VLC with the best quality.
